In preparation for the Regional Conference of junior scientists from Western Balkan Countries, national workshops were organised at the beginning of April in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Serbia, while bilateral meetings were held in Kosovo and Montenegro.
Junior scientists discussed their position in their respective national systems, the issues and challenges they face in their carreers, and prepared recommendations on how to overcome them, which will be shared with their colleagues at the Regional Conference to be held in Belgrade, April 19-21, 2016.
Each of the six Western Balkan Countries selected representatives which will meet in Belgrade to come up with a Joint Opinion
on the position of junior scientists in the Western Balkan Countries, which will then be presented at the 2nd Joint Science Conference
of the Western Balkan Process in Vienna, May 22-24, 2016.
