Guest speaker at the workshop was Lucian Brujan, Speaker of the Berlin Process – Joint Science Conference who talked about the importance of the Western Balkan Process (Berlin Process) and the Joint Science Conference for science and young scientists in the region.
PERFORM will continue to support advocacy efforts of young researchers in 2017 with the aim of bringing together larger number of young researchers (not only from social sciences) to work together on improving the framework conditions for young researchers in Serbia.
Researchers had the opportunity to clearly define their advocacy objectives and target audiences, as well as to conduct the analysis of power dynamics and the environment.
Building on previous efforts in supporting a group of young researchers in improving their position in the national science system, PERFORM supported a workshop on developing Advocacy Strategy & Action plan for improving frame conditions for young (social science) researchers in Serbia.
