Falling Walls Lab Belgrade

Call for Applications

The Falling Walls Lab is an innovative scientific format for aspiring researchers. The Lab is a platform for excellent academics, entrepreneurs and professionals from all disciplines who get the opportunity to present their research work, business model, innovative project or idea with peers and a distinguished jury from academia and business. Each participant has 3-minute time on stage.


Falling Walls Labs take place globally throughout the year. The winner of each international Falling Walls Lab qualifies for the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin, which is held every year on 8 November and is closely connected to the annual and internationally renowned Falling Walls Conference, taking place on 9 November. 

 

This year, the Falling Walls Lab Belgrade will take place on 24 June 2018 at 6.30pm. Applications can be made through the website www.falling-walls.com/lab

 

The Application Deadline is 27 May 2018

 

The most intriguing presenter qualifies directly for the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin. At the Conference 20 world-class scientists from across the globe present their current breakthrough research answering the question: “Which are the next walls to fall?” 


The Falling Walls Foundation covers the accommodation for the 8-9 November in Berlin. The travel expense allowance is provided by DAAD. Also, all participants of the Finale receive a ticket for the Falling Walls Conference.


The Falling Walls Lab Belgrade is hosted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in cooperation with Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, PERFORM, the University of Belgrade, Babylon and KC Grad and is supported by the Federal Foreign Office. The Falling Walls Lab is a project of the Falling Walls Foundation and supported by the Bayer Foundations and Sartorius.
